We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse to provide specialized wound care in our outpatient center. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping patients heal and regain their quality of life through expert assessment, treatment, and education.

As a Wound Care Nurse, you will:

  • Provide compassionate and expert care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of skin and tissue integrity issues, including pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, incontinence-related skin conditions, surgical wounds, and traumatic injuries.
  • Be a patient advocate: Manage and coordinate patient cases, ensuring individualized care plans are followed and optimal healing outcomes are achieved.
  • Utilize your expertise: Conduct thorough assessments, develop prevention strategies, and provide ongoing education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team: Work closely with physicians, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Ensure quality care: Initiate and monitor our Quality Management program, contributing to the continuous improvement of our wound care services.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation: Complete accurate and timely patient and billing documentation in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
  • Two years of related work experience in Med/Surg, Gerontology, Home Health, or Wound Care, demonstrating experience working with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
  • Current professional certification (e.g., WCC, CWON, CWS or equivalent) is highly preferred.
