Registered Nurse 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the Cardiac Cath Lab unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, interpreting clinical data, and providing age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals, ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.
• Assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and deliver care specific to each patient's age and needs.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
• Contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.

We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.

• 12 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is required.
• 24 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is preferred.
• Current California RN License 
• AHA-BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA-ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) 
• Critical Care Course Completion within one-year
• Basic EKG within 90-days of employment
• HBOC computer training within 6 months of employment in the position
