The posted compensation range of $47.41 - $70.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose
As a strategic partner, the Region Mgr-Compensation-CA coordinates and manages the development, implementation, maintenance and communication of the organization's compensation programs, policies and processes for the assigned region(s), market(s) and/or service line(s). They oversee the analysis of budgets and plans within various pay programs. The Region Mgr-Compensation formulates partnerships within the Compensation Team, and other HR COEs to deliver value-added services that reflect the strategic business objectives of CSH This role will be supporting the California Region.


Essential Function

  • Advises senior management on aligning the pay programs, policies and procedures with organizational goals; implementing creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and ensures regulations compliance, making timely revisions when needed, and keeping senior staff informed of any updated practices or policies.
  • Keeps informed of external market and compensation trends, develops integrated solutions and is a change agent and champion for new compensation related initiatives and programs.
  • Directs related staff to ensure the accuracy of compensation information including incentive calculations, approvals for award payments, and payment records.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or Five (5) years of job of industry-related experience in lieu of the degree.


Required: Minimum of five (5) years progressive compensation or analytics experience with at least three (3) years managing people or complex projects/processes. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training (KSAs) 

Demonstrated technical proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet and HR Technology applications using quantitative analysis, charting, pivot tables and formulas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong presentation and education skills to include delivery and communications as well as technical software.
