The posted compensation range of $29.16 - $42.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting CommonSpirit Health Real Estate Services leaders to drive efficient, accurate analysis of data and report of ambulatory major capital projects to meet hospital operations, clinical needs and corporate initiatives across the enterprise. Works independently to analyze performance data and metrics to identify trends related to project performance. Understands construction terminology and project management tools, and can communicate with team members to use for increased project performance. Creates and interprets project management system data and communicates data/information in an understandable and compelling manner to a variety of end users at many levels of the organization.

Understands and combines data from a variety data sources, including project management application, to create and support meaningful project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for departmental team.
Works with management and REAS teams to assist with financial data gathering and/or interpretation. Ensures accuracy of financial information systems and maintenance of reporting.
Supports team in purchasing and accounts payable project issues. Works with internal CSH departments to resolve ongoing data issues and monitors resolutions.
Participates in ongoing improvements activities streamlining the processes for expense submittal, review, and approval.
Develop and present Program financial reporting associated with yearend analysis, yearend projections and other special reports.
Coordinate with NRES Divisional staff to improve accuracy and efficiency in developing divisional project budgets, schedules and cash flow requirements throughout the organization.
Participates/develops weekly, monthly and quarterly project reporting, as well as annual 5-year capital planning initiative with department and system leaders.
Assists NRES Finance Team in identification and implementation of key metrics utilizing project management system software, external benchmarks, and internal data, by identifying important trends and variances through the review of management reports and financial analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration or Equivalent experience required.
Experience (3+ years): experience working with multiple systems, project management applications, reporting systems and accounting systems
Experience in construction projects and working with project management teams
Experience and knowledge of accounting/finan ce terminology & reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
Healthcare or hospital experience preferred
Ability to review financial reports and identify spending trends and variances.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize, coordinate and analyze complex data.
Understand and exercise proficiency in each of the identified accounting disciplines.
Maintain knowledge of current accounting practices and trends to assist in providing recommendations for process improvements for the business
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building-skills, with the ability to communicate up, down and across levels of the organization
