The posted compensation range of $60.24 - $89.60 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Program Managers, Project Managers and/or Business Analysts, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development

  • Strategy and Operations leader for the shared portfolio and leadership team, including improved product artifacts, integrated roadmaps, and executive level strategy and operations collateral.

  • Relentless commitment and ownership over the planning, execution, and delivery of a wide range of projects and programs, ensuring they meet quality, scope, budget and timeline requirements.

  • Proactive leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, PM COEs, and stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational strategy and stakeholder needs; strong ability to manage in a heavily matrixed environment.

  • Implement and refine project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; while maintaining progress on delivery and clear visibility into project work, and daily operations.

  • Aligns early and often from monitoring, and proactive engagement regarding the progress of projects and programs, addressing and recommending strategic adjustments for any issues that may arise.

  • Manage resource allocation and project prioritization, ensuring optimal deployment of personnel and capital resources.

  • Bias-to-action leadership; lead by example. Rolls up sleeves to demonstrate progress, in parallel to process improvement.

  • Executive presence to support leadership team, matrix teams, and ability to serve executive summaries related to budget, capital, issues, risks, daily operations, with a nack for story-telling in a data driven manner.
  • Drive improvement in the areas of discovery, planning and execution to ensure we meet customer commitments on time, with quality and clarity.

  • Daily facilitation required; effective communication and collaboration among both internal project teams, individual contributors, matrixed leaders from projects, budget, finance, and delivery optimization partners as well as external stakeholders, maintaining a focus on achieving business outcomes, and clarity on operations.

  • Manage resource allocation and budgeting across multiple projects and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and financial efficiency

  • Drive innovation, blending of agile product management and traditional waterfall delivery, within the portfolio and program management processes, seeking opportunities for improvement and streamlining operations; including a dotted line alignment to a centralized center of excellence program as well as agile methodologies.

  • Remote eligible.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of experience managing Program Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts

  • 7+ years experience in program/project management, agile teams, or value-based outcome tracking

  • Experience leading strategy and operations for portfolio, mised with strong understanding of project and program management methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience in defining program/project management standards, process optimization and implementation is required.

  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing project resources, and matrixed resources, including dotted line to Program Management Center of Excellence.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast paced environment; from individual projects to integration across multiple programs.

  • Healthcare IT industry experience preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification preferred.

  • Bias to action, objective and decisive - strong problem solving skills and demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills

  • Executive level  Oral/Written Communication for results for programs, projects, and product portfolios and roadmap

  • Ability to make a quick assessment of the scope of an issue and provide options for its closure

  • Agility and the flexibility to adapt

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and change; context shift from operations day to day, to strategic planning.

  • Respect and compassion for diverse perspectives, experience and backgrounds; with a collaborative style
