The posted compensation range of $35.38 - $50.69 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. What You'll Do:As a Pre/Post-Surgical RN in our Heart & Vascular Center, you will be instrumental in:
- Providing comprehensive pre-operative assessments and education to patients and their families, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable.
- Delivering exceptional post-operative care, closely monitoring patients' recovery, managing pain, and identifying potential complications.
- Administering medications, performing wound care, and managing lines/drains with precision and expertise.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care plans.
- Documenting patient vital signs, progress, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educating patients and families on discharge instructions and self-care after surgery.

Job Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Current and Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota (or compact state).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
- Proven experience in an acute care setting, ideally with some exposure to cardiology, critical care, or surgical units.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to act swiftly and decisively in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
