Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It (and We Hope You Do!):

As a Dialysis RN, you'll be instrumental in providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, managing dialysis treatments, and educating patients and their families. Your keen eye, empathetic approach, and strong clinical skills will be essential in ensuring safe and effective care.


Work Agreement:

Shift type: Rotating, clinic is open Mon-Sat

Shift length: 12 hours

On-Call: on call rotation is required when clinic is closed

Weekend Rotation: every 3rd

Holiday Rotation (annual): 2


Job Requirements

Are You Ready to Join Our Team? Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Education:A nursing degree from an approved school of nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, but your passion for patient care is paramount!
  • Licensure:You'll need to be licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of North Dakota, or in a compact state. If you're a Graduate Nurse (G.N.), you'll practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while your work authorization is valid.
  • Experience:None required! We're excited to welcome new talent and provide the training you need to excel.
  • Skills:A solid working knowledge of basic clinical skills in the delivery of patient care. We'll equip you with the specialized dialysis skills!
  • Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within the orientation period and you'll maintain re-certification as needed.
  • Interpersonal Superpowers:Excellent communication skills are a must! You'll be constantly interacting with patients, families, visitors, and our medical center staff, both orally and in writing. You're accountable for your conduct and a champion for positive working relationships among all disciplines. Maintaining patient confidentiality is non-negotiable.

CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.
