Receptionist
The posted compensation range of $17.04 - $23.43 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in all visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain a daily visitor log and monitor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Provide basic information about the program and direct individuals to appropriate contacts.
- Handle light clerical tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensure the reception area is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and general facility premises for unauthorized activity.
- Follow procedures for notifying security when deemed necessary.
Working Conditions:
- Indoor office/front desk and facility monitoring environment.
- Primarily evening hours, including some weekends or holidays as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of combined experience in reception, or customer service
Prior experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or healthcare settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Basic computer skills (Google email, calendar, and phone system.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).
