CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care, specialty care, family medicine, 3D mammography, orthopedics, neurology, and several other health services to our Williston community.


Provides and maintains a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all facility surfaces are maintained in a manner.  Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.  This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.


  1. Maintains assigned areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner that includes performing the following daily cleaning functions throughout the facility:
    • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors;
    • Disinfecting furniture and equipment (I.e. beds, mattresses, walls, windows and window sills, TV’s and TV remotes, door handles, blinds, etc.);
    • Empties and disinfects wastebaskets; transports waste to disposal area;
    • Disinfects bathrooms and maintains appropriate bathroom supplies;
    • Special cleaning projects as needed;
  2. Ensures supply rooms are stocked and organized;
  3. Ensures assigned areas are cleaned in a timely fashion;
  4. Respond to service calls and pages in timely fashion;
  5. Carries the Service Pager if assigned;
  6. Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include, but not limited to, floor buffers, water extraction machines and carpet cleaning equipment, etc., as needed;
  7. Other duties as assigned.
  8. Strong oral communication skills;

  9. Must have knowledge of basic cleaning principles/methods and products and the ability to identify and follow directions for products used;

  10. Ability to manage multiple priorities, detailed oriented;

  11. Must have basic computer skills
