Job Summary:

Coordinates the upkeep and maintenance of Franciscan Hospice facilities with internal and external service providers. Duties also include providing administrative and clerical support to assigned managers. 

Work includes 1) working with building management, contractors, internal FHS maintenance staff, external vendors, and community agencies; 2) making rounds and tracking conditions/issues that do not meet established standards; 3) routine testing of systems/equipment such as fire suppression and alarms, and 4) working with security, risk management, infection control, and police/fire departments to ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and emergency preparedness. Clerical and administrative work includes copying, meeting support, maintaining schedules, and other similar tasks.


Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Requirements

Two years of progressively responsible related work experience, preferably in healthcare facilities, that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
