Responsibilities
Main OR - Fellowship Program
Our Surgical Services Leadership team includes a Director, 3 Perioperative Clinical Managers, 2 PeriAnesthesia Clinical Managers, a Sterile Processing Manager and an RN Educator. Combined, these leaders have over 100 years of nursing and leadership experience and they truly enjoy mentoring and developing staff members.
What you’ll do
Surgery nurses in our surgical services provide intra- operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.

The 361-bed regional medical center is a level II trauma center with a robust cardiac surgery program that has recently received Three Star Awards for our thoracic and cardiac programs. Our main OR suite includes 11 operating rooms (two are cardiac). We perform over 16,500 cases per year, including trauma, cardiothoracic, vascular, general, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, spine, ENT, gynecology and robotics. We provide 24/7 staffing in the Main OR.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- One year of related work experience is preferred.
- Critical Care background
- Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
