The posted compensation range of $54.12 - $78.47 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. The Director of Excutive Communications supporting division executives and senior leaders, enhances the reputation of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and its leaders. Develops and executes strategies to effectively engage the community and key stakeholders. Helps facilitate ongoing community events by developing content for shared strategic goals and priorities.
Using social channels to elevate the reputation and presence of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and division leaders, provides communications support tied to community outreach events, sponsorships, programs and activities. Manages hospital-based community sponsorship process.
Partners with the Director of External Relations to leverage multiple social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) to engage with influencers, consumers, patients and potential employees. Creates and directs audience engagement and growth strategies for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s social channels. Working with communications resources across the division, recommends and implements social media tactics to support Virginia Mason Franciscan Health branding initiatives.
Partners with the Director, Internal Communications on key leadership communications to support employee engagement using video content, written materials, events and other communications channels, as appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing Communications, Journalism, Social Media or related field required. A minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in advertising production or directly related experience required, preferably in an advertising agency, direct response, healthcare or the health insurance environment and three (3) years of experience in a management/leadership position, with responsibilities to develop and deliver social media programs. Experience working with community-based non-profit organizations and proficiency in developing and creating visual communications for executive leaders also required.
