Responsibilities

At Arizona General we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Chandler Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise; support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness. 

Expectations:

  • Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff directing patient flow assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.
  • Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan.

Arizona General now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Qualifications

Minimum:

  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Pediatric Life support (PALs) obtained within 3 months of hire - American Heart Association 
  • BLS - American Heart Association 
  • ACLS - American Heart Association
  • Two years recent ED

Preferred: 

  • Charge Nurse Experience
  • BSN
