The posted compensation range of $29.16 - $42.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
Competent to perform complete diagnostic radiography procedures on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of Medical Director. Individual Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and with effective communication with physicians, staff and patients. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging exams inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and Ensures that patient safety is maintained.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all Functions of a Radiologic Technologist I
- Provides training for new incoming staff
- Functions as a Radiographic Tech Lead when needed
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Education and Licensure Required:
- Associate's degree preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R); must maintain current
- Certified by State of Texas – MRT; must maintain current
- CPR/BLS
Minimum Experience:
- One (1) year of experience
