Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Administers radiation therapy treatments under the direction and approved treatment plans of a radiation therapy physician. Localizes patients on the simulator machine. Collects data needed by dosimetry for treatment planning. May perform dose calculations. This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through adolescents through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Current CRT
- Certification California Board and National Board certified in Radiation Therapy (ARRT)
- Current BLS
- Simulation, patient set-up and treatment with a good understanding of treatment planning
Preferred:
- Minimum one (1) year experience preferred
- RTTF
