Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary Outpatient Neuro Rehab team consisting of neurologists, neurophysiologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

In this role, you will work closely with patients with a variety of neurological, cognitive, and communication disorders, participate in our ALS and Parkinson's Wellness clinics,  perform and interpret results of MBSS, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to each patient's condition and goals.

You will also participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge."

Evaluates and treats patients with communication, speech and swallowing disorders to improve communication skills through vocal exercises and cognitive therapies in accordance with organizational policies/guidelines, regulatory requirements and the standards of the profession.  Successful candidates will be experienced in treating the adult neuro population, performing and interpreting results of MBSS, and  have or obtain certification for LSVT Loud within one month of hire.  Work includes indirect patient care activities such as; documentation, family and caregiver training, interaction with the Interdisciplinary Team, participation in staff meetings, and contributing to continuous quality control and performance improvement.

Qualifications

Required for All Staff:

Master’s Degree Speech-Language Pathology

License Washington State as an SLP

Certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence within 1 year

CPR thru the AHA


Additional knowledge and skill requirements: excellent written and verbal communication skills; and excellent clinical judgment.
