Virginia Mason Franciscan Health  in Seattle, Washington is recruiting BE/BC Intensivists to join our regional team.

Our hospitals are highly respected by the community, and six are Leapfrog “A” hospitals.  One of the flagship hospitals, Virginia Mason Medical Center, was named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades and Leapfrog’s “Hospital of the Decade.” Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Intensivist to join our leading Critical Care Team.

In Washington state, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health provides critical care at Virginia Mason Medical Center, Saint Joseph Medical Center, Saint Michael Medical Center, Saint Anthony Hospital, Saint Anne Hospital, Saint Clare Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital and using our Virtual Intensive Care Unit.  We are looking for physicians who thrive in a highly collaborative environment, have a passion for resident and staff education, and have an interest in quality improvement.

Responsibilities will include direct patient care, involvement in unit operations and leading daily multidisciplinary rounds. Positions are available to work at a single site or at multiple sites. We work on a rotating schedule with a mix of day shifts and night shifts. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative, quality driven team with a commitment to providing evidence-based care to the patients we serve.

· ABA or ABIM Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Critical Care
· Candidates boarded in Emergency Medicine will be considered
· Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
· Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
