This position serves as the central point of contact for Virginia Mason employees / customers on all computer related assistance, troubleshooting, service recovery and problem resolution. Specific knowledge of the Virginia Mason technology and systems environment preferred.

Responsibilities include:

50% - Provide customer support via the phone or email to capture, document, troubleshoot, track and resolve computer related incidents or problems. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in an energized team- centered environment.
50% - Consistently utilize standard Incident Response, Problem Management, and Request Intake tools in support of all customers. Document service recovery and problem resolution steps as necessary in support of future customers and teammates.

This position requires an Associate’s Degree in computer-related studies or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an IS system environment, a basic knowledge of computers and networks, the ability to communicate effectively, analytical skills, organizational skills, and both a customer service oriented and team- focused approach.
