The posted compensation range of $68.96 - $100.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care as required by the Medical Center’s patients. The Clinical pharmacist performs clinical and educational functions required in drug monitoring, with emphasis on appropriateness, safety and cost-effective drug therapy. The Clinical pharmacist is actively involved in quality improvement activities of medication use throughout the medical center as assigned. This position also functions as a staff pharmacist up to 50% of the time as assigned. He or she applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. Qualifications
MIN REQUIREMENTS:
1) Completion of Board Certification
2) ASHP-accredited residency program
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
1) 1 year's experience with demonstrated competency in area of specialty
2) 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field
3) Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training.
4) PC Computer skills preferred Board Certified specialty by ACCP or equivalent Board
Current registration in California as a pharmacist.
Pharm.D. Degree from a U.S. accredited School of Pharmacy. Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program or two years of clinical practice in a hospital setting.
Must have PC Computer skills. Must have demonstrated capabilities in effective time management, professional judgment, problem resolution and quality improvement, communication and leadership.
