Responsibilities

This position plans develops coordinates and implements staff development continuing education orientation annual update and competency evaluation processes including remediation of staff. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.


Qualifications
  • One year of nursing experience and a
    minimum of two years of educator
    experience required. Demonstrated
    progressive teaching and communications
    skills.
  • Master's degree in related field OR
    Master's degree in progress.
  • Experience in course design and presentation 
  • California R.N. License;
  • ACLS; BLS;
  • CNOR preferred
