Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a university or college accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of California
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification, approved by the American Heart Association
- A thorough knowledge of physical therapy techniques and diagnostic tests for evaluation purposes for inpatient and outpatient populations of all ages
- Able to complete a thorough evaluation including history, objective findings, goals, justification for medical necessity, and a plan of care.
- Able to perform heavy physical tasks in working directly with patients
- Ability to be flexible in making changes in work routine
- Ability to complete equitable caseload under pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and general computer systems for electronic documentation and report
- Experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting
- Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association
