As our Cardiac OR Nurse at Mercy General Hospital, you’ll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital. 

You’ll never have the same day twice as your patients’ needs evolve. That’s why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented, observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG techs, and other cardiovascular professionals.

Position Summary:

• Develop the skill set to manage very acute and complex cardiovascular patients
• Managing patients with acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
• You will be trained in direct recovery of the post surgery patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Registered Nurse and Operating Room experience with scrubbing and circulating abilities, in acute care setting
• American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications 
• Other certifications may be required (ie: CNOR, ACLS)
