    Responsibilities

    Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist assists in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records.


    Qualifications

    Minimum

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Trained in preparation of intravenous and other sterile products (documentation required).

    • Ability to demonstrate competency in the preparation of intravenous and other sterile products

    • Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician

    Preferred

    • Two years health-system pharmacy technician experience
