SUMMARY - Transplant contract manager is responsible for the leading and conducting transplant contracting activities, monitoring all transplant phases of care from a contractual and financial perspective (billing, collection and follow up) to assure that all appropriate charges have been captured, 100% of transplant claims have been submitted correctly, timely, followed up on and paid correctly/timely per the contract specifics. Day-to-day management of government/nongovernment and managed care contracting performance for all solid organ transplant programs under the direction of the Transplant Administrator. The position's range of duties and responsibilities are broad and varied with primary focus being given to transplant contracting oversight, stewardship and operational efficiency and effectiveness for all managed care contracting optimization. This position will work in conjunction with Dignity's health Managed Care and Transplant Services team.



Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.

3 years in contracting, finance provider relations or operations in a related field and/or transplant managed care contracting experience.


Knowledge/experience in working with managed care and government payers, claims/financial reports, business development and strategy desired.

Understanding of both facility and physician contracting.

Market/regional knowledge of the health care landscape preferred.

5 + years of managed care contracting with focus in transplant contract performance.

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a Healthcare and or Business Field.

Experience in transplant managed care contracting.

Strong reporting/ analytical skill and project management experience

Actively licensed RN
