SUMMARY - Coordinates, supervises and implements patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.

MINIMUM

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ADN, Diploma, or Foreign equivalent required.

Three years of oncology experience with at least one of those years in an infusion setting.

Computer skills, EMR documentation, Word, Excel, Record/Verify system, work experience: patient education/interventions, symptom management.

Must hold and maintain:
(1) AZ or compact state RN license (RN);
(2) American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS); and
(3) ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certification within 6 months of hire (CCP CHEMO

PREFERRED

Chemo/Bio Provider certificate
OCN certified
1 yr. of Acute care nursing experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (CT ACLS)
