Responsibilities

SUMMARY - The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering care to oncology patients admitted to St. Joseph"s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) and patients who are seen by the DHCI Genitourinary Program. The NP will work in collaboration with the attending surgeon and practice according to the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse scope of practice as set forth in Section R4-19-505 of the Arizona Administrative Code.


Qualifications

MINIMUM

Master's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.

Three (3) years Nurse Practitioner experience required.

Current AZ RN license

Current AZ Nurse Practitioner license

National Certification in a Nurse Practitioner specialty (AOCNP, ANP, ACNP, FNP)

Current DEA certificate.

American Heart Association ACLS

American Heart Association CPR BLS

Credentialed as allied health professional with DHMG and SJHMC

PREFERRED

Experience in Oncology/Internal Medicine preferred.
