Responsibilities
Caring for the smallest and most fragile lives yields some of the greatest personal and professional rewards. This is what you'll experience when you join the family-centered Neonatal Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.   Serving families throughout the southwest, our Neonatal Unit consists of an 11-bed Level 1 Nursery and a 65-bed tertiary care NyICU where healthcare professionals provide a higher level of care for infants during weeks 23 to 42 weeks of gestation.   From delivery to discharge, we provide a unique continuity of care for these special patients and maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3-4 based on patient acuity.
This position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
One (1) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty. 
 ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent
Current AZ State RN License in good standing. 
Current BLS card. 
Current NRP card or NRP Instructor. 
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred within 1 year of hire. 
NCC certification in low risk neonatal nursing within 2 years of hire.
Preferred:
Charge Nurse experience.
BSN
