Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) Medical Director

The Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) is recruiting a Medical Director for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). NTI is home to one of the busiest lung transplantation programs and earned a reputation for excellence and innovation in caring for patients with complex and challenging thoracic problems. The Medical Director will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding heart program.

Responsibilities

The Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) is recruiting a Medical Director for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).


Qualifications
  • MD or DO Degree
  • Fellowship training in critical care medicine required Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Cardiology Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Academic experience with the desire to educate and participate in research required
  • Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant desired
  • Five years of Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO desired
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
