greater Phoenix Metropolitan area

The Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s (DHCI) Hospital and Medical Center has created a best-in-class cancer program that offers a compassionate and considerate experience for patients, is efficient and effective, and respects and celebrates diverse cultures.  We are expanding to make comprehensive breast care more accessible throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. 

We seek to employ a board certified general surgeon/fellowship trained breast surgeon or surgical oncologist to join the existing members of the DHCI Breast Program multidisciplinary team.  Our Breast Surgeons may see patients at DHCI and new locations that are planned within the Phoenix area.  The DHCI is less than 2 miles from St. Josephs’ Hospital and Medical Center and the Outpatient Surgery Center.  

Services at all locations will include: 3D Mammo (Diagnostic and Screening), US(Diagnostic, Screening, & Biopsy), Breast MR(Diagnostic & Biopsy), Dexa, 3D Stereo.  We also offer:

  • Breast Risk Assessment
  • Breast Density Assessment
  • Clinical Navigation
  • Ai Software (Hologic – Quorum, DeepHealth)

Compensation:

Responsibilities

We seek to employ a board certified general surgeon/fellowship trained breast surgeon or surgical oncologist to join the existing members of the DHCI Breast Program multidisciplinary team.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • General surgeon, fellowship-trained breast surgeon or a surgical oncologist
  • American Board Certification or Eligibility (if new grad)
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State Medical Licensure
  • A passion for providing excellent clinical care
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona and satellite hospitals
  • Acceptable references from supervisor, peer, subordinate and a registered nurse
  • Willing to abide by and promote the mission and values of Dignity Health and CommonSpirit Health.
