The posted compensation range of $49.27 - $58.04 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, performs all diagnostic radiology procedures and specialty procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a staff technologist
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in one (1) specialty field
- Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
- Current Certified Radiology Tech certification (CT CRT)
- Current Fluoroscopy Permit certification (CT RTTF)
- Current ARRT certification with certification in at least one of the following:
- Mammography
- Computed Tomography
- Cardio/Interventional Radiology
- MRI
Special Skills:
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles, protocols, techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty.
- Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the general patient population.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.
- Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
- Must spend 25% of clinical time working in specialty field
