Responsibilities
Senior Certified Surgical Tech, CVOR
Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the SR SURGICAL TECH assists in the care and preparation of the surgical patient in accordance with individual needs, physician orders, Hospital policy and standards of patient care. In addition, the SR SURGICAL TECH functions in three or more areas of specialization.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of operating room experience in an acute care setting required, with at least three (3) years in CVOR.
  • Open Heart procedures preferred.
  • Successful completion of an accredited/approved Surgical Technician program required.
  • Current AHA BLS card required.
  • National Board Surgical Technician (CT ST) certification required.
  • LA County Fire Card required.
