RADIOLOGY - DIAGNOSTIC UNIT
Northridge Hospital Medical Center
The IMAGING TECH II is responsible for the routine daily operation of the Radiology department.Functions and performs duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Director. Prospective candidate is responsible for upholding Dignity Health visions Values and guiding principles by communicating those values in a positive and professional manner. The IMAGING TECH II will be expected to perform routine MRI and diagnostic radiographic procedures which includes basic trauma and fluoroscopic procedures in surgery.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years experience in an acute Hospital and radiology department with previous supervisory experience preferred. Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.Cross training in MRI CT Nuclear Medicine and Mammography. License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.MRI certification preferred.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital and radiology department required.
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross - training in MRI Nuclear Medicine required.
- License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
- Certification in MRI modality required.
- Must maintain Fire Safety card.
