Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton, spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast’s award-winning network of outstanding hospitals, imaging centers, laboratories, and post-acute services.


Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Physician's Assistant is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients, including, but not limited to: taking health history, performing physical examination and psycho-social assessments, management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides wellness care and urgent care in collaboration with physician members of health care team.


Qualifications

Minimum

    • PA State Certification.

    • Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice

    • Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice.

    • PA License;BLS

Preferred

  • Minimum five years experience in acute care facility, i.e.  , hospital; specialty training in areas of trauma/urgent care, pediatrics, and gynecology, minor office surgical procedures.
