$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULL TIME positions paid out in one lump sum in the paycheck after you’ve been employed by us for 30 days (contingent on meeting the requirements) if over 1 year of RN experience

REGISTERED NURSE ONCOLOGY

Overview:

As our Medical Surgical Nurse at Memorial-Lufkin, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
  • Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
  • Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree In Nursing
  • One Year Of Experience In Medical Surgical Unit
  • Active Texas RN license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS AHA)
