Responsibilities

The receptionist is responsible for the prompt and professional greeting of external and internal customers to the office, fielding all calls, on site deliveries and providing other office support.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes external and internal customers to the office in a prompt, professional manner both in person and by telephone.
  • Performs activities to ensure the smooth function of the office, including scheduling conference rooms and handling facility issues.
  • Provides clerical support to the office, such as typing, copying and faxing. Copies and appropriately distributes written communications as directed by branch leadership.
  • Places calls for equipment service and other activities which support office functions: postage, Fax, voice mail system, copier, etc.).
  • Promptly separates mail and distributes properly.
  • Coordinates and tracks clinical equipment and laboratory pickup.
  • Cost effectively order supplies as needed.
  • Directs applicants on where to initiate the application process.
  • Maintains a central filing system for the office and prepares non-clinical documentation for filing.
  • Maintains employee phone lists and distributes lists informing staff of changes when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years cusomer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be detail oriented, professional, organized, possess appropriate follow through, and utilize good time managment skills.
