Occupational Therapist

At Dignity Health’s Arizona General Hospital, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona.  As part of our team, you will provide clinical expertise, support, and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care.  Also, you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.

The Therapist provides patient care, including evaluating the patient for treatment, providing and directing administration of the care plan upon the referral from the physician. Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients. Instructs patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities. Assists with patient program management, while delivering quality patient services.

Minimum:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required.
• Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required.
• AZ OT License.
• CT American Heart Aossication BLS.
• Computer skills required.

Preferred:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.

• 2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care preferred.

• Prior use of electronic health record preferred.
