Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Grass Valley California. The hospital has been providing compassionate quality health care to residents and visitors of western Nevada County since 1958. The Telemetry Nurse is a specially trained RN in detecting cardiac dysrhythmias and monitoring to provide specialized medical and/or surgical nursing care. Our Telemetry RN's provide, plan, and direct care to individuals and families in collaboration with the health care team. Essential Functions: Assessment, teaching, planning and coordinating care including discharge needs, performance of RN-specific tasks, and providing team leadership to assure that care is accomplished effectively and efficiently. Perform other duties as the scope of practice allows in order to meet patient needs efficiently and effectively and in support of cohesive team functioning.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Current California State RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS AHA Issued Certifications required
Telemetry experience required (Exception: when staffing is able to accommodate training, management will consider RNs with non-Telemetry experience).
Ability to accurately assess:
- Cardiac rhythms with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions and medications.
- Cardiac complications with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions.
- Interpretation and use of unit-specific equipment.
