The hospital has been providing compassionate, quality health care to residents and visitors of western Nevada County since 1958. Responsibilities

The Hospital Entry Screener/Greeter is responsible for greeting and screening individuals who enter the facility, including patients, visitors and employees. The screening process will determine the individual’s eligibility for entry into the facility and will be based on the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines and hospital policy. Additionally, this position will act as a facility greeter providing initial customer service and a positive first impression of the organization. This position will be required to document and maintain confidential employee medical information. This position will report directly to the Manager of Security.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic First Aid
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English with clarity and comprehension
  • Competent in technical procedures including but not limited to obtaining, recording and reporting vital signs with
    accuracy
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
