Responsibilities

About this opportunity:

We are a growing Cardiovascular Interventional department and are looking to hire Per Diem RTs for our Neuro program.  This role will be required to take STEMI, Neuro-Intervention or STEMI/Neuro-Intervention on-call a few days a week and be required to work a weekend shift per month.
Staff should be able to arrive within 30 minutes of emergency activation. If residency is more than 30 minutes away accommodations of an on-call room may be made available.  On-call rooms are fitted with a TV and mini refigerator.  Showers and access to the employee gym are available. 
On-call hours:  Weekday: 5pm-7am   Weekends: 7am-7am.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in a Catheterization Laboratory, IR or Neuro Intervention
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Courses in Hemodymanic monitoring, Arrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac specific classes within 1 year of employment.
  • Certification in POC testing (ACT).
  • Basic Life Support Card
  • License is required as issued by the state of California, CRT, Flouro and national, ARRT.
