CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital accredited by The Joint Commission licensed by the North Dakota State Department of Health and certified by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in the Medicare Program. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Lake Region area and surrounding communities since 1902.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse Nurse at our hospital you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac telemetry orthopedics neurology critical care surgical services and emergency.

Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Keen assessment skills critical thinking and a sense of urgency support your career advancement and you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment where you will rarely experience the same day twice. 


Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • ND RN Graduate Work Authorization obtaining active Registered Nursing License in North Dakota or a current RN license that allows you to practice in the state of North Dakota within 90 days of employment
  • Active Registered Nursing License in North Dakota or a current RN license that allows you to practice in the state of North Dakota
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtained within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS & PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire and maintained
