In this position you will have the ability to help shape the MRI department, train others in MRI and provide care to a diverse rural community. As our Mulit- Modality Tech at CHI St. Alexius Health Devil's Lake, you will help capture quality diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.

Responsibilities
- Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
- Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
- Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)(MR)
- Licensed or eligible by the North Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists (RT)(MR)
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong oral communications skills
- Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Preferred candidates will be registered in MRI/X-ray/CT or willing to cross-train in CT
