Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,500 employees and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.  Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years.  The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center and many additional services. During the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, Chandler Regional provided more than $48 million in community benefit. As a result of Dignity Health’s mission to deliver health care and partner with the community, nearly 100,000 people in the East Valley were reached through community health services. Responsibilities

At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Chandler, Arizona.  As part of our team, you will provide clinical expertise, support and oversight that helps ensure our Surgery patients receive exceptional care. The SURGERY DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our new tower has provided additional surgery suites with the latest technology providing a wide range of patient surgical/procedural experience.

·24/7 Operational hours

·13 Surgical Suites, 1 Cysto Suite

·1:1 Nurse Ratio

·Multi – Specialty

Trauma, Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Reconstruction.

·State of the Art equipment

·In-house Anesthesia

·Anesthesia Techs and Video Techs

·Self-Scheduling

Located in the City of Chandler, a suburb of Phoenix, this position is critical to the success of Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission.


Qualifications

Minimum:

ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent.

Current AZ State RN License in good standing.

Current BLS card. (American Heart required)

Current ACLS card within 6 months of hire.

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Basic Computer Skills including MS Office Suites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One (1) year surgery experience.

Knowledge of surgical procedures, critical care (surgical) background, pediatric experience helpful.
