Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of the registration process including management of medical records requests. Provides quality management oversight for all duties associated with the registration process. Participates in department quality improvement activities. Under the direct supervision of the Physician and CARE Center Director and within the registrar/Medical assistant Scope of Practice.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- 2 years medical assistant experience required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or completion of an U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program.
- AHA BLS
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
Preferred:
Advanced computer skills; Familiarity with medical terminology/health record; Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Previous experience in community clinic setting Registrar Experience Spanish medical interpreter experience Experience working directly with health care providers
