Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. It is one of the area’s largest and most comprehensive medical centers. Dedicated to the community’s well-being our staff and volunteers provide excellence in care for our patients each year. Mercy San Juan Medical Center has received recognition for being a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery along with Certificates of Excellence in Perinatal Care Hip- and Knee- Replacement.
Responsibilities
If you enjoy a busy and multi-faceted, team-oriented Emergency Department environment and want to be part of a national leader in trauma care, this is the place for you! Mercy San Juan Medical Center is Sacramento area’s first Comprehensive Stroke Center and we are a Regional receiving center for many specialties including: trauma, ortho, high risk maternity, NICU, and STEMI. Our fast-paced 31-bed Emergency Department has skilled physicians who work closely with specially trained nurses and other healthcare professionals to see the approximate 80,000 patients each year. Our success directly correlates with high employee satisfaction scores, which can be attributed to our collaborative practice with physicians, management and our involvement of staff in peer interviews.

Qualifications
$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible. Employee Referral Eligible position.
Minimum:
- 2 years recent experience in an Emergency department as a RN within the last 5 years
- Current CA RN licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association
- TNCC required within 6 months of hire
- MICN required within 2 years of hire
