CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Adheres to the CHI St. Alexius Health mission, vision, and values to foster a compassionate, healing environment that provides physiological, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and visitors.
- Answers patient call lights at the bedside, addressing patient needs within individual scope of practice.
- Performs and documents patient hourly rounds as directed by policy and procedure to assist in maintaining patient safety on the unit.
- Serves as a safety attendant/patient sitter for those patients needing 1:1 observation.
- Cross trains to Life Safety Monitor Technician role.
- Safely transports patients within and outside of the department as directed by ED registered nurses and/or physicians within individual scope of practice.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
