We have a brand new full time RN Manager, Clinical Services  position available in our Bellevue Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position will support our Peri-Op and Procedural areas (GI/GU). Our new clinic located in Bellevue WA is beautifully designed and growing quickly.  Come join our growing surgical team.   No weekends, holidays, or call & Free parking!  We are open Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm.  Specialties include general, vascular, ENT, plastics, neuro, ortho, podiatry, total joints, hand, GYN and urology. We care for healthy adult and pediatric patients.  We have a great work culture that supports the RN with growth and career development.

This Clinical Manger is responsible for organizing, planning, leading, and directing clinical and management activities for the designated department and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Accountable for daily operations and oversight of nursing practice and patient care delivery. Participates as a member of the health care team in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care. Contributes to organizational operations and supports the mission by fostering interdepartmental communication/collaboration. Demonstrates a high level of ability in leadership, supervisory skills, problem solving, patient advocacy and public relations.

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

BSN or Bachelors Degree in a related field is preferred.

Three (3) years experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty.

Two years (2) in a charge nurse/ leadership or equivalent position required.

Job Knowledge/Abilities: - Current or recent RN experience working in a Peri-Op or Peri-Anesthesia area is strongly preferred - Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, techniques, protocols and tools/equipment of the nursing profession in general, and of the assigned clinical nursing specialization. - Knowledge of VMFH policies and standards, and legal regulatory/accreditation requirements applicable to matters within designated scope of responsibility. - Leadership skills to include the ability to serve as role model, initiator in problem-solving, decision-making, delegating, and communicating of ideas and information. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position. - Familiar with contemporary health care trends and able to prioritize in a changing environment. - Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level of proficiency - Skills in strategic planning, financial, statistical analysis, and managed care reimbursement. - Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility, cooperation, and participate in cross-organizational performance improvement activities. - Supervisory skills to include developing clear performance expectations, hiring, coaching, conflict management, counseling, resolving performance problems, and facilitate group process. - Ability to express ideas and convey technical information effectively in verbal and written communications. - Ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.  Knowledge of adult education and learning principles, standards and practices. - Ability to assess educational needs and develop timely and effective education/training programs that provide staff with skills and competency to meet applicable regulatory, risk and patient safety requirements. - Ability to deliver effective in-service education/training and consultative services to clinical staff.

Licensure/Certification: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

Certification in specialty area preferred.

Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
