The posted compensation range of $30.74 - $56.23 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Maintains responsibility accountability and authority for day-to-day operations and personnel pertaining to the front desk. Coordinates billing operations for the department. Provides supervision of receptionists volunteers therapy and physician scheduling communications and maintaining patient files. Ensures proper staffing including orientation and training of new office personnel. Assures effective integration of front desk functions with ancillary hospital departments.
Qualifications
At least two years hospital and /or medical office management receptionist experience and previous supervisory experience. Knowledge of medical terminology insurance verification and billing procedures. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to manage multi-line telephone systems. Flexibility and adaptability to work in various settings with short notice and ability to quickly learn master and retain the tasks/duties pertinent to those areas.
