Responsibilities

The Lead Case Coordinator at Rally acts in a leadership capacity working independently and supervising the direct service staff and volunteers. She/he reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for administrative duties related to scheduling court reporting and coordination with the Family Court. She/he works with families providing supervised visits and monitored exchanges and other related services. The Case Coordinator provides intake/orientation and risk assessment problem solves with clients and the Court and ensures the integrity of court reports sent to the Court. The Case Coordinator oversees on-site shadow training and assists with the maintenance of client demographics and grant reports. The Case Coordinator's work schedule includes holidays weekends and week days/evenings additionally providing on call coverage. He/she is responsible to attends supervision meetings clinical supervision and staff development meetings. She/he works in a team overseeing the overall operation quality and efficient (cost effective) delivery of services.


Qualifications

Experience

3-5 years in Human Services setting. Demonstrates knowledge of child development child abuse prevention and child exposure to domestic violence. Years of education can replace experience.

Prior experience working with families in conflict. Clinical background. Prior experience facilitating groups. Prior experience supervising staff (preferred)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor degree in social work counselling psychology or related field (preferred)

Licensure

Requirement to be fingerprinted and registered with Trust Line within the first 30 days of employment

Special Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft word processing. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with appropriate use of grammar rules and ability to edit documents.

Detail oriented. Conflict resolution & limit setting skills. Team oriented. Able to maintain a courteous demeanor in challenging situations. Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) preferred. Knowledge of Excel and Access programs
