Overview

Sonographer

This is a PRN role and the rate is $44/hr.

As a Sonographer with St. Luke's part of CommonSpirit Health you will  perform ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction
of the Medical Director.

The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around The Woodlands, Texas. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 139 hospitals and more than 1,000

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality electrocardiograms. You’ll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients and their caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
  • Analyses sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information with medical history, and communicates findings to the
    appropriate physician
  • Ensure optimal imaging quality by performing quality checks on diagnostic equipment

Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
    Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic
    Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
